My Webster's New World College Dictionary (4th Ed.) states that the word <i>where</i> can be informally used in place of <i>whereas</i>. <br /><br />If we accept <i>cuz</i> then surely we can be happy with an informal <i>where</i>.<br /><br />I'm sure William F.
